Top Seeds Collide in NCAA Tournament Final Four

After one of the wildest endings in tournament history saw its top overall seed bounced, the Final Four of the 2026 NCAA Tournament is set.

Michigan (+170)

The Wolverines have been on a dominant run so far, with their 13-point win over Alabama the closest margin of victory thus far, while the Elite Eight saw them crush Tennessee by 33 points in a 95-62 win. Michigan's flaw, ahead of the tournament, was a lack of experience playing in slowed, one-possession-type contests. That hasn't factored in yet, but that could change come Saturday.

Arizona (+170)

And that could very well change for Michigan, because it’s set to face fellow No. 1 seed Arizona, which has been equally as impressive as its upcoming foe. The Wildcats faced their first real scare in the previous round against Purdue, having trailed by seven at the break, but a 48-26 second half saw them win by 15 to set up this titanic battle. Arizona's size and physicality promised to impose ahead of the tournament, and it has done just that. If it can continue against Michigan, expect the Wildcats to head into the natty as a considerable favourite.

Illinois (+390)

The Fighting Illini have scrapped their way into the Final Four with impressive wins over No. 2 Houston and No. 9 Iowa, and now find themselves on the right side of the bracket, having avoided both remaining No. 1 seeds. Unlike Michigan, Illinois is happy to play at a slow pace, and it lends itself to tournament success in close games. Now, the Illini can try and extract revenge after a humiliating loss at the hands of the Huskies in the 2024 Elite Eight.

UConn (+640)

Somehow, UConn is here. After pulling off one of the craziest comebacks in college hoops history, Dan Hurley’s troops must refocus and turn their attention to an upstart Illinois squad. Fortunately, that shouldn’t be an issue with UConn’s hyper-intense coach at the helm. Despite the Huskies' never-say-die tournament thus far, they are a distant fourth on the odds board after sneaking by not only the Blue Devils in miraculous fashion but also No. 3 Michigan State in the Sweet 16.
