Dodgers Chasing History as MLB’s Team to Beat

The Los Angeles Dodgers didn’t just win it all in 2025, they ran it back in dramatic fashion. Now? They’ve got their sights set on something even bigger: a three-peat. And if you ask the oddsmakers, they’ve got a real shot at pulling it off.

Led by Shohei Ohtani, this loaded Dodgers roster heads into the season as a heavy +220 favourite. They’ve been the class of the league for two straight years, and just when it felt like the rest of baseball might catch up, they went out and added another major piece, landing Kyle Tucker in free agency. Not exactly what the competition wanted to see.

Right behind them on the odds board? The last team to actually pull off a three-peat, the New York Yankees at +1000. With a stacked lineup and ace Gerrit Cole back from Tommy John surgery, the Yankees look ready to make some noise again.

The Seattle Mariners (+1200) are next in line, coming off an AL runner-up finish. With stars like Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodríguez, they’ve got the firepower to stay on top of the AL West.

Things get interesting with the New York Mets (+1300). Last season didn’t go as planned, and they’ve moved on from key names like Pete Alonso and Edwin Díaz. But with big spending comes big expectations—and adding Bo Bichette signals they’re not backing down.

At +1500, both the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies are gearing up for tough division battles. Boston’s still chasing the top of the AL East, while Philly has to deal with a reloaded Mets squad in their own backyard.

The Toronto Blue Jays (+1600) are right back in the mix after coming painfully close last year. Even with Bichette gone, they made a splash by bringing in Kazuma Okamoto, adding some serious power to the lineup.

Rounding things out are the Chicago Cubs (+1700) and Atlanta Braves (+1800). The Cubs are building on last year’s deep run with the addition of Alex Bregman, while the Braves are looking to bounce back after their playoff streak came to an end.

From competitive divisional battles to a league-wide mission to dethrone the Dodgers, the 2026 MLB season promises excitement from the first pitch. Step up to the plate, the new season’s about to begin.
